Publication Terms
Requirements for the formatting and submission of articles to the Annual Scientific Journal ‘PRAVOVA DERZHAVA’
((in accordance with the requirements of the Procedure for Compiling the List of Scientific Professional Publications of Ukraine, approved by Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine No. 56 dated 19 January 2026).)
To submit an article, you must:
1. Send an electronic version of the article to pravova.derzhava.idp@gmail.com, stating the author’s surname and initials and the title of the article in the subject line.
2. Sign the licence agreement for the use of the work following successful completion of the peer-review process (the author will be notified of this by email). Articles submitted by authors without a signed licence agreement will not be accepted for publication in the annual collection of scientific works ‘PRAVOVA DERZHAVA’.
Format and structure
- Page format: A4, portrait
- Font: Times New Roman, 14 pt;
- Line spacing: article text — 1.5; other (author details, abstract, references) — 1.0
- Paragraph indentation: 10 mm.
- Margins: left — 20 mm, right — 10 mm, top — 20 mm, bottom — 20 mm.
- Length: up to 12 pages.
- Language of the article: Ukrainian, English.
Structural elements of the article:
- UDK
- ORCID
- DOI (if available)
- Surname and initials of the author(s), academic degree, academic title, position, name of institution
- Title of the article
- Short identical abstracts with keywords in Ukrainian and English (3–4 sentences each)
- Text of the article
- List of references (in the language of the cited source)
- References (list of references in Latin script)
- Extended abstract with keywords::
— for articles in Ukrainian, an extended abstract in English must be provided (1,800–2,000 characters);
— for articles in English, an extended abstract in Ukrainian must be provided (1800–2000 characters).
The extended abstract must be structured and include the following elements: statement of the problem (introduction); the aim of the article; research methods and results (results); (conclusions)
The structure of the article must comply with the requirements of the Higher Attestation Commission of Ukraine and include the following elements:
- introduction (relevance of the topic);
- literature review detailing research on the subject of the article, including a thorough critical analysis of scientific sources and the identification of unresolved issues by other scholars on the subject of the article;
- formulation of the research problem;
- aim and objectives of the research;
- presentation of the main material;
- conclusions from this research and prospects for further studies in this field.
Requirements for the list of references
References should be listed in the order in which they are cited in the text of the article, with the corresponding number indicated in Arabic numerals, as shown in the example:

If information needs to be noted in a footnote, special symbols — *, **, *** — are used, for example:
