— availability of open procedures for considering appeals and complaints;

— retraction and correction of articles.

— transparency of funding;

— transparency of editorial decisions;

— support for young scientists.

DORA (San Francisco Declaration on Research Assessment) https://sfdora.org/read/

— open access to data and codes;

— use of extended metadata and identifiers (ORCID, DOI) for accurate citation.
