Constitutional and legal dimension of the political component system of national security of the Ukrainian state in the conditions of current challenges and threats

When studying the political component of the national security system, in particular its political component, it is necessary to note that in the works of both foreign and domestic scientists, the emphasis is placed mainly on the sphere of ensuring the vital activity of society and the state. It is important to pay attention to the fact that the political component of the national security system appears as an extremely complex social formation that determines the procedures and methods of organization and activity of political institutions and governance, the style of decision-making, and the relationship between the state and society. Ensuring the vital activity of society and the state today for Ukraine in the conditions of military aggression by Russia is an extremely urgent, complex problem and requires stability and evolutionary development, since abrupt changes in the political system destroy its political institutions, unbalance their activities, and lead to significant human, material and spiritual losses of society. Moreover, the imbalance of the institutions of the political system and their ineffectiveness create a real threat to the protection of the vital interests of a person and citizen, society and the state, which ensures the sustainable development of society, timely identification, prevention and neutralization of real and potential threats to national interests.
When analyzing the political component of the national security system, it is also necessary to pay attention to the fact that its substantive aspect must be considered through the prism of such a category as a political system, where the political system appears as a rather complex, relatively closed social formation that ensures the xistence of society as a single organism, centrally managed by political power, the core of which is the state.
Summarizing the above, it is necessary to define the political system, which is a component of the national security system, as a certain set of state and non-state social institutions that exercise power, manage society, regulate relations between citizens, social and ethnic groups, ensure the stability of society and the appropriate law and order in it.
